ABOUT FIRST RESPONDERS OPERATION RESTORE
The First Responders Post Trauma Training creates a safe, confidential environment for individuals to work through their most critical incidents and process the cumulative stress of risking their lives throughout their careers.
"First responders encouter traumatic events on a daily basis, and many of us are unaware of the long-term toll this takes on our psychological well-being. The Post Trauma Retreat is transforming the culture of law enforcement by helping officers identify and effectively cope with the range of reactions we experience as a result of the stressful nature of our profession. Officers throughout all levels of our organization, including myself, who completed the training are now better equipped to manage stress. My goal is to send every Tampa Officer through the training: not only does this benefit our own lives, it impacts the public we serve." - Tampa Police Chief Eric Ward
